Hyaluronic acid and skin aging
blondy

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is essential for maintaining moisture, firmness and elasticity of the skin. Due to environmental factors such as exposure to sun, pollution and free radicals as well as the natural aging process, the skin’s natural HA levels decline year after year. Our skin becomes thinner, drier and loses its elasticity. Lines and wrinkles start to appear and the entire harmony of the face changes.

Find out how to reverse the signs of aging without surgery and pain and choose Croma Injectables.

FAQ

How does a treatment work?
Croma Injectable treatments are non-surgical, granting minimal recovery time and ensuring, immediate, natural-looking results. Depending on your skin and individual wishes, the practitioner will choose the most suitable product from the Croma Injectable range to fulfill your needs and expectations. The resemblance of naturally occuring HA in the human body and Croma Injectable means no preliminary allergy testing is necessary. The procedure is quick and easy. The injection itself may only take about 15 to 30 minutes. You will be able to return to your daily activities immediately afterwards.
Is the treatment painful?
The injections are done with very fine needles and due to the addition of lidocaine to our
products the treatments are essentially pain free. Subject to the treated area and your
sensitivity, an anaesthetic cream or a local anaesthetic injection can be given additionally.
What are possible side-effects?
Thanks to the high safety profile and tolerability of Croma Injectable gels in the skin, you will be typically able to return to daily activities instantly after the aesthetic treatment. However, you may experience some post-treatment discomfort such as temporary tenderness, redness, swelling or bruising on the injected area. These symptoms are usually mild to moderate and will disappear within seven days. You can apply an ice pack for a brief period on the injection site to help soothing any swelling.
How long will the result last?
The results of an aesthetic treatment with Croma Injectables are long lasting, but not
permanent. Depending on the product used, the injection area and your individual
dispositions of the skin, the results can last for several months up to a year.
Are there any recommondations?
In order to reduce the risk of bruising and bleeding at the injection site, avoid any
medications such as anti-coagulants and anti-inflammatories, that can prolong bleeding, the week before receiving the treatment. After the injection you should not apply any make-up for 12 hours and avoid sunbathing or high temperatures for one week. Your healthcare
professional will advise you further.
